The Beauty Blog Awards 2016 is a fabulous gala night to celebrate Ireland's top blogging and vlogging talent held on May 26th in Lillies Bordello. 

I was reading this years long list of nominees last week and came across my name in not one but three categories!  Well I nearly died! 

I am delighted to be nominated in:

The final shortlist will be announced on 16th May.  I am over the moon to get this far and to be listed with some of Ireland's biggest names.

I had heard of the skincare and cosmetics company, but I had yet to try them for myself. The products all seem to be very reasonably priced and will suit most budgets.  Great for your day to day beauty routine and will not break the bank!  So I put some of their products to the test! 

The One Matt Velvet Foundation

 This foundation is perfect for day to day use, with an SPF 20, it is perfect for protecting your skin from the daily elements.  I would avoid using for night time events if you were going to have photos taken, as SPF causes ‘Flashback’ this is where your face looks white in photos! A lovely lightweight liquid with a medium coverage, it gives a dewy smooth matte like finish and with Anti-Shine Technology can control shine. This is ideal for combination/oily skin types.   5 shades available ranging right from porcelain to warm beige. RRP €15 

The ONE Volume Blast Mascara Smokey

 A high impact volume mascara with deep a smokey richness. A boost Wax System plumps your lashes, the wand has smaller bristles this helps to amplify the volume of your lashes and will help to stop clumping of the product on your lashes The carbon black formula adds depth to your lashes to give a lovely dark intensity.
