The lovely Sally from ‘Enhance Your Beauty with
Oriflame’ sent me some of the Oriflame range to try. I had heard of the skincare
and cosmetics company, but I had yet to try them for myself. The products all seem to be very reasonably priced and
will suit most budgets. Great for your
day to day beauty routine and will not break the bank! Firstly, I did a bit of research
about the company. Oriflame was Founded in 1967 by two brothers and their
friend, Oriflame is now an international beauty company selling direct in more than
60 countries worldwide. With a wide portfolio of Swedish, natural, innovative
beauty products that are marketed through a sales force of approximately 3.6
million independent consultants, who together create annual sales exceeding
some €1.5 billion. With more than 40 years’ experience, over 100
scientists and state of the art R&D facilities, Oriflame are constantly
searching for better solutions and technologies in order to create more
progressive, innovative products that are consistently on-trend and meet
consumer’s needs. An Oriflame product’s life begins at their Skin
Research Institute, where sophisticated science is used to create unique
and sometimes-patented technologies that gives them the leading edge on competitors.
These new technologies are then passed on to the scientists in our Product
Development Centre in Dublin, Ireland, whose role it is to create a cosmetic
formula that fits within an existing Oriflame brand or has the potential to
begin a new one.
So I put some of their products to the test!
The
One Matt Velvet Foundation
This foundation is perfect for day to day use, with an
SPF 20, it is perfect for protecting your skin from the daily elements. I would avoid using for night time events if
you were going to have photos taken, as SPF causes ‘Flashback’ this is where
your face looks white in photos! A lovely lightweight liquid with a medium coverage, it
gives a dewy smooth matte like finish and with Anti-Shine Technology can
control shine. This is ideal for combination/oily skin types. 5 shades available ranging right from porcelain to

The
ONE Volume Blast Mascara Smokey
A high impact volume mascara with deep a smokey
richness. A boost Wax System plumps your lashes, the wand has smaller bristles this
helps to amplify the volume of your lashes and will help to stop clumping of
the product on your lashes The carbon black formula adds depth to your lashes
to give a lovely dark intensity. Also a nice day to day mascara, this one is
not waterproof so if you are after that protection take a look at the ‘The ONE

The
ONE Colour Match Eye Shadow Duo
A silky textured, pigmented eye shadow duo with double-ended

use these shimmery shades on the lid or used wet, these shadows also double as
eyeliners. Can be used to highlight the brow bone or inner corner of the eyes.
